Step 1: Choose silicic acid board that is not easy to crack

It is understood that there are three main materials for the ceiling of the decoration hall and the roof: water board (also known as plywood), gypsum board and silicate board.

The cost prices of the three materials are similar, but the material performance and process requirements are quite different. When purchasing ceiling materials, it is recommended to buy silicic acid boards that are not easy to crack.

The water plywood is light in weight and low in construction difficulty, but the board is easily damp. The gypsum ceiling also has the disadvantage of being easily damp. In comparison, the quality of the silicate board is relatively guaranteed, but the material is heavier, the process is more difficult, and it is time-consuming and labor-intensive.

Step 2: The channel should be installed firmly

When installing the channel, the spacing of the explosive screws should not exceed 1 meter, otherwise there may be potential safety hazards. It is recommended to use light steel channel as the frame. The so-called light steel channel is actually a shovel-plated iron plate, and its waterproofness and strength are better than that of wood.

Step 3: Reserved plate seams can prevent deformation and cracking

When fixing the ceiling on the channel, a board gap is reserved between the boards to integrate the suspended metal ceiling to prevent the ceiling from being deformed and cracked. The board seam is about 5~8 mm, generally 8 mm is the most suitable.

If there is no channer at the seam, KINGREAL recommends laying a board on the inside to stick it, and then paint the seam with plaster, and it will look perfect from the outside.
