Brief Introduction of Linear Ceiling System

For the stylized elegance of ceiling, Architects & interior designers all over india are preferring Conwed Metal Ceilings. Conwed Linear ceilings are available in vide variety of profiles like 150F / 200F / 84C / 84R / 150C / 75C / 225C etc. 

Conwed Linear Ceilings are most conventional & aesthetically most appealing. Manufactured with world class standard the clear lines & joints of Conwed linear Ceilings impart perfect symmetry to ceiling giving a decent & polished looks. GENERAL SPECIFICATION of CONWED 84C CEILING SYSTEM: 

PANEL:
Conwed 84C Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 84mm wide, 12.5 mm deep & 0.5 m thick with recessed flange of 24 mm. Panel length is upto approximate 6 mtrs. Panels are available in various substrates like GI & various aluminum alloys like 3105 / 3005 / 5050 etc. Panels are also available with an option of perforations with hole diameter of 2 mm & CTC of 5 mm, the apertures represent 15% of the perforated area. When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel splice suitable for 84C Panel.

» SUSPENSION SYSTEM : Suspension will be by the means of 4mm diameter GI suspension rods & suspension clips. The light weight of the ceilings and the rigidity of the construction makes it possible to use one suspension for approximate 1.5 to 2 sq. mtrs. The carrier would be suspended from the roof/truss by 4mm diameter galvanized steel wire rod hangers with height adjustment spring clips made out of galvanized spring steel OR stainless steel.

» CONWED 84C PANEL CARRIERS : Panel carrier shall be 32 mm wide and 39 mm deep with cutouts to hold the panel in a module of 100 mm, carrier shall be roll formed out of 0.95mm thick Aluminium strip OR 0.6 mm GI coil and cut to a standard length of 5m. When two or more carriers are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of carrier splice which will clip on to the holes in the sides of the cut carrier and hold them firmly in place while maintaining the module of 100mm.

PANEL:
Conwed 150C / 225C / 75C Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 150mm wide (225mm or 75 mm) x 15.5mm deep x 0.5mm thick with bevel edges. Panel length is upto approximate 6 mtrs. Panels are available in various substrates like GI & various aluminum alloys like 3105 / 3005 / 5050 etc. Panels are also available with an option of perforations with hole diameter of 2 mm & CTC of 5 mm, the apertures represent 15% of the perforated area. When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel splice suitable for 150C Panel.

Conwed 150F / 200F Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 150mm wide (200mm) x 17mm deep x 0.5mm or 06mm thick with flush edges. Panel length is upto approximate 6 mtrs. Panels are available in various substrates like GI & various aluminum alloys like 3105 / 3005 / 5050 etc. When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel splice suitable for 150F or 200F Panel.

» SUSPENSION SYSTEM : For interior application suspension will be by the means of 4mm diameter GI suspension rods & suspension clips. The carrier would be suspended from the roof/truss by 4mm diameter galvanized steel wire rod hangers with height adjustment spring clips made out of galvanized spring steel or stainless steel.
For Exterior applications the carrier would be suspended from the roof / truss by rigid suspension of galvanized steel suspension angle with hold on clamps at max 1 mtr centre to centre. 

» CONWED 150F / 200F PANEL CARRIERS :Panel carrier shall be 34 mm wide and 48 mm deep with cutouts to hold the panel in a module of 150 mm / 200mm, carrier shall be roll formed out of 0.95mm thick Aluminium strip for 150F panels OR 1.2mm thick aluminum strips for 200F panels OR 0.6 mm GI coil and cut to a standard length of 5m. When two or more carriers are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of carrier splice which will clip on to the holes in the sides of the cut carrier and hold them firmly in place while maintaining the module of 150mm / 200mm.

Conwed 84R Panels are roll formed using state of the art roll forming lines to 84mm wide, 12.5 mm deep & 0.5 m thick. Panel length is upto approximate 6 mtrs. Panels are available in various substrates like GI & various aluminum alloys like 3105 / 3005 / 5050 etc. Panels are also available with an option of perforations with hole diameter of 2 mm & CTC of 5 mm, the apertures represent 15% of the perforated area. When two panels are to be joined, they shall be joined together by means of panel splice suitable for 8RC Panel. These panels are installed on modules of 100mm & the 16mm gap is optionally installed with flush profile suitable to fit between two 84R panels.

PAINT FINISH

Conwed Linear Ceiling Panels Production line are available in Coil Coated finish, Coated in state of the art continuous coil coating line, double baked on the finish side with primer coat & finish coat & on the reverse side with a service coat. The panels are appropriately pretreated before coating to ensure maximum bond between metal & paint. The Panels are available in various colors to suite various requirements.

EDGE PROFILE

Edge Profile shall be L – shaped , roll formed out of 0.5 mm aluminum or GI strips  with  coil coated or Powder Coated in standard colours.
