Why does the four-column hydraulic press rust? How should it be maintained?

Time:2021-03-02 Views:2805

Four-column hydraulic presses are widely used in the metal stretch forming industry in all major processing industries. With the advent of winter, four-column hydraulic press equipment needs to be protected, especially some four-column hydraulic press equipment working outdoors. It is very cold and bad. Because the work objects are generally metal products such as iron plates, they are also easy to wear. In addition, the weather is cold and the air becomes humid, causing the four-column hydraulic equipment to be particularly susceptible to rust and corrosion.

Rusting of the four-column hydraulic press will affect work efficiency in the slightest, reduce the output, and stop production in severe cases, and even pay for repairs. First of all, the simplest and most effective way to prevent the four-column hydraulic press from rusting is to apply anti-oxidation paint to the four-column hydraulic press machine, apply mineral oil, paint, or burn enamel or spray on the surface of iron products. Use electroplating, hot-dip plating and other methods to coat the surface of steel with a layer of metal that is not easy to rust, such as zinc, tin, chromium, nickel, etc. These metal surfaces can form a dense oxide film to prevent iron products from contacting with water, air and other substances from rusting. In addition, if there is paint falling off on the metal surface of the four-column hydraulic press, apply anti-oxidation paint in time.
