Volume control damper, also known as vcd hvac, is an indispensable central air conditioning terminal accessory in ventilation, air conditioning and air purification projects of industrial plants and civil buildings. It is usually installed in the pipes of air conditioning and ventilation systems to adjust the air volume of branch pipes and can also be used for mixing and adjusting fresh air and return air.
The characteristics of volume control damper include that the size of the pipe connection of the split-leaf multi-leaf volume control damper is the same as the size of the rectangular air duct specified in the national ventilation duct standardization, and the volume control damper blades are split and open, with good air tightness and adjustment performance. Its structural features include the volume control damper blade width being unified into four specifications, the blade shape being a diamond-shaped double blade, and soft overlap between the blades, so the sealing performance is good. The body frame of vcd hvac is usually formed by cold rolling 2 mm galvanized sheet, and then welded with carbon dioxide gas shielding or processed and welded from ordinary Q235 sheet; the vcd hvac blades are cold-rolled into a corrugated shape with 1 mm galvanized sheet, and two pieces are spot welded to insert a square shaft, or cold-pressed with 2 mm G235 steel sheet, and a single piece is punched to insert a square shaft or welded to a round shaft.
The functions of the vcd hvac include manual opening, manual adjustment of air volume, and manual closing. 6.The sealing measures on the top and side of the volume control damper blades, as well as the edges and top of the C2 type regulating valve, are also equipped with sealing grooves, which can make the valve self-locking when closed to reduce air leakage. These design details further enhance the sealing and reliability of the vcd hvac.
7.Volume control damper can be used in occasions with low leakage requirements, meets the standards of UL 555S Class II, and is suitable for application scenarios with strict requirements for air volume control.
