Video About  Ceiling Panel Press Machine

A complete metal ceiling production line generally consists of machines such as decoilers, press machines, CNC servo feeders, hydraulic shears, conveyors, precision straighteners, automatic turners, automatic feeding robotic arms, hydraulic bending machines, and electrical control systems. This article will provide a detailed introduction to one of the key components of the metal ceiling production line—the press machine. KINGREAL is a professional manufacturer of metal ceiling production lines. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact us!

Introduction

The press machine(including punching machines and hydraulic press machines) is a versatile and intricately designed machine. It is widely used for processes such as cutting, punching, blanking, bending, riveting, and forming, thanks to its high efficiency and broad applications. The press processes metal workpieces by applying strong pressure to cause plastic deformation and fracture, thereby shaping the parts. During operation, the mechanical press is driven by a motor through a V-belt to turn the large pulley (which also serves as a flywheel), and then gears and a clutch drive the crank-slider mechanism, causing the slider and upper die to move downward. After the forging work is completed, the slider returns to its upper position, the clutch automatically disengages, and an automatic switch on the crankshaft is engaged to stop the slider near the top dead center.

Principle

The working principle of the press machine involves the hydraulic system providing pressure to move the pressing plate downward, thereby compressing the sheet material. The pressure and pressing time of the press machine can be adjusted according to different processing requirements to achieve the best results. The pressure in the press comes from the hydraulic system, which consists of a tank, pump, motor, pressure gauge, and hydraulic cylinders. The flow of hydraulic fluid in the system is controlled to compress the sheet material.

Structure

The structure of the press machine mainly consists of the frame, pressing plate, hydraulic cylinder, and hydraulic system.
The frame is the main part of the press machine, bearing the weight and pressure of the entire machine.
The pressing plate is the component used to compress the sheet material, usually made of steel plate for high strength and hardness.
The hydraulic cylinder is the core part of the press machine, providing the pressure from the hydraulic system to move the pressing plate downward and compress the sheet material.

Classification

Press machines are classified into three main types: screw presses, crank presses, and hydraulic presses. Crank press machines  are also known as mechanical press machines.

Screw press machines  do not have a fixed bottom dead center and can shape larger forgings through multiple blows. They can perform single blows, continuous blows, and incremental movements. The impact force is related to the deformation of the workpiece; larger deformation results in less impact force, while smaller deformation (e.g., cold blows) results in greater impact force. In this regard, screw press machines  are similar to hammers. However, their impact force is enclosed by the frame, making operation smoother and reducing vibration compared to hammers, and they do not require a large foundation.
The lower part of the press machine is equipped with a forging ejector device. Screw press machines combine the functions of various forging machines, such as forging hammers and mechanical press machines, with strong versatility and can be used for processes like forging, punching, and deep drawing. Additionally, screw press machines have a simple structure and are easy to manufacture, making them widely used.

Features

1. High Pressure: Sheet metal press machines usually have a pressure of over 100 tons, allowing for high-strength processing of sheet materials.
2. Good Stability: Sheet metal press machines use hydraulic systems, which provide good stability and high precision.
3. Simple Operation: The operation of sheet metal press machines is straightforward; it only requires following the set parameters.

The press machine is widely used in the field of metal ceiling production lines and is an indispensable piece of equipment in modern industrial production.
