The difference between pneumatic and mechanical relaxation of servo feeder

The biggest difference between the mechanical NC feeder and the pneumatic NC feeder is the different relaxation method. For the mechanical NC, the mechanical lever is used to relax (the lever must be installed on the punch slider) to relax quickly without crushing the data. The adjustment is convenient, and the relaxation is not subject to external interference. When you need to relax during mold trial or data re-entry, you only need to adjust the loosening screw to touch the bearing to relax the material. The operation is simple and convenient. The pneumatic NC feeder selects the cylinder to pull the roller on the feeder to complete the relaxation. This process requires the punch cam to send a long feed signal to the solenoid valve, and the solenoid valve controls the cylinder movement, so that the NC feeder reaches the relaxed state.

　　 As a result, the pneumatic relaxation device is slow to relax. It is simply affected by the external air source power supply and electronic accessories, so that the pneumatic feeder cannot be used for high-speed feeding, and the operation adjustment is relatively messy. When trying to re-enter the mold or replacing the data, because this process needs to loosen the data repeatedly, the pneumatic NC feeder needs to be controlled and loosened on the electric control box every time it relaxes, and the adjustment is not as simple as the mechanical type.

In the actual purchase, the first choice is based on the characteristics of the punch. The pneumatic NC feeder does not need to install rated components on the punch, so there is no equipment problem. Basically any punch can be installed and used, and it can be installed together. Go to the shears or other equipment for feeding operations. But because the pneumatic type is slow to relax, it is not suitable for short-step high-speed feeding operations.

　　 When mechanical NC feeder is installed, it is necessary to install a mechanical lever on the slider for relaxation, so it is not suitable for gantry punches and shearing equipment, but the mechanical relaxation is fast in response and is very suitable for short-step high-speed feeding operations. Moreover, mechanical relaxation stability and operation convenience are still better than pneumatic NC feeders.
